Etched By Design is a privately owned and operated high definition laser etching company. Located in the beautiful state of Arizona, Etched By Design is striving to become one of North Americas premiere Laser Etching companies. Achieving, sustaining and surpassing the highest levels in our industry are what will make Etched By Design the Bench Mark for all others to follow.

The company is owned and operated by Scott West, his sole mission was to open another division to his tile and stone contracting  installation business that would present to the public another option for custom art in stone, glass, wood and leather. He had grown tired of the same repetitive options available to his customers when presented with the task of finding exciting and different expressions of art in the form of murals, deco’s or listelles. In the fall of 2004 Scott attended a Stone show in Las Vegas and experienced the capabilities of the Camtech L20 Laser Master. He set out to assemble one of the best art and graphic teams so as to allow his company the ability to compete in the market he was about to enter. A successful company is created by great ideas, great product and most importantly great service. Great service comes easily when people have a love and passion for what they do. From our marketing and sales force to our art and graphic departments, we will continue to strive to be the epitome of our industry.

Etched by Design made the commitment to establish itself as a manufacturer of laser etched art and seek out retail companies to handle the distribution of our product line. Others in our industry will manufacture their product, sell to distributors and turn around and handle day to day sales of their own. We at Etched By Design believe this is not the correct way of doing business as it adds no competitive gain for the very distributors who are aiding in the distribution of your product line. Competing against your own sales force has little or no benefit to your distributors. Why would they want to sell a product that can be obtained factory direct by the retail public? We have not found the answer to this question as of yet, instead we will focus our business to being as ethical as we would expect in return from our associates. Therefore it is our guarantee that we will do whatever possible to aid our distributors in their success with our product line, starting with a state of the art website that is designed to send customers to our listed distributors.

Offering distributors the option of creating there own product line to be displayed on our website is another way to enhance our relationships with distributors. Creating a private collection enables the possibilities of selling art which no other distributor may obtain. We have created a “Button” on the website that is labeled “Distributor Gallery”, this gallery is where the distributors private collections will be held. The mouse crosses over a selected piece and a balloon pops up stating the distributor which holds the rights to the piece and a direct link to their website for further information about obtaining art.
